Metallica experiences:
When I was 7 or 8 years old, my cousin (a big tallica fan) was baby-sitting me. He (most likely out of boredom) held a cassette (And Justice For
All) in his hand and said, "Wanna listen to music? Now there's some cursing in here, so don't tell your mom." The tape played and I really dug what I was hearing. At that point, Metallica was something that I liked.

But the point where Metallica became something I loved was about 4 or 5 years later (1996) when I saw the video for "Until it Sleeps." I couldn't
believe how much I loved this. I felt like it was made for me or something. I was so psyched and got my dad to take me to the record store right away to get Load. He looked at the back and said, "Ain't my BITCH?!? Your mother would have a fit!" and we left the store load-less. That day I got my neighbor across the street to get it for me. hehehe. And I loved it so much that I bought all the other albums as well, and before I knew it. Metallica was my life.

My first concert was November 11, 1997, at the Corestates Complex Parking Lot in Philadelphia, PA.... AKA, the FREE SHOW. It was great. My mom took me and my little brother out of school for it. I couldn't believe that they were actually there, in person, because when I'd see them on TV, they seemed like super human! And what really got me was their stances when they played because they were fixtures in my brain and now, here it's real. I can't really explain it.

My second time seeing Metallica was July 15, 1998, at the Blockbuster-Sony Music Entertainment Center in Camden, NJ. Great show, I had a great
time. --Highlight of the evening? Besides having Metallica (far far far, but nevertheless) in front of me? Has to be smoking pot with a cop.
Needless to say, my "seats" were on the lawn.

The last time I saw Metallica was the best night of my whole entire life. It was Tuesday, November 23, 1998. As Matt, our chapter head had pointed out, this was at the Electric Factory which holds only a few thousand people; tickets sold out in 11 minutes! I too won the tickets from WYSP (the rock station!). Matt and Huggie played the intro to "One" using the touchtones on a telephone. I was the lucky caller who guessed the right song and I won the tickets!! It was general admission and  my friends and I were in the FRONT ROW!!! I was standing directly in front of Kirk the entire night!! oh my god,I was being sweat on! The location for the after show signing was before the show on the radio. By the time the show was over we had heard that there were already thousands of people there, so we went to the back and stood where all the trucks were. We were there for a while and then sure enough, all four guyz walked out all showered and clean, wet hair and smellin good, and came over to talk with us for a while. There was only like a dozen of us back there. That was really cool of them, especially since they had somewhere to be. Jason was the first to come out; he was really cool and was signing everything under the sun that belonged to this homeless guy! That was cool. He left in his own limo (that was weird) Then about 20 minutes later, the other 3 came out together. They were really nice too. they signed a bunch of stuff and answered all of our questions and stuff. Wow, that was a great night!

My favorite Metallica album is Master of Puppets (classic)

James Hetfield is not only my favorite band member, he is my favorite man period! He is the essence of M-A-N, man.

About me?
I play guitar and sing Rock'n'Roll. If I may say so myself, I am good at what I do. I'm an "all-star" student of the Paul Green School of Rock Music.

I am also a full time student at Temple University, majoring in Philosophy. With a Philosophy degree, I plan on going to law school, to someday be a civil attorney for the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union).
